In honor of America’s 250th anniversary, we’re leaning into a nostalgic hometown feel for the Fourth of July to honor the spirit of community that sparked the nation’s founding. To commemorate this milestone, the City of Temecula’s Community Services Department is partnering with the Old Town Temecula Association (OTTA) and Visit Temecula Valley (VTV) for A Very Americana Temecula! Enjoy a special weekend of patriotic cheer with these family-friendly activities in Old Town Temecula from Thursday, July 2 through Saturday, July 4, 2026.
Red, White & Boutique — Thursday, July 2
OTTA presents the Old Town Temecula Boutique Crawl from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm. Guests are invited to explore local shops offering unique finds, exclusive promotions, and fun activities. Cookie Time on Main Street begins at 2:00 pm, accompanied by Uncle Sam.
Stars, Stripes, and Old Town Nights — Friday, July 3
Celebrate the spirit of small-town America during an evening in Old Town from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Enjoy classic summertime favorites — soda pop, hot dogs, apple pie, and hometown hospitality — at participating restaurants throughout the district. Keep an eye out for classic cars cruising through town as you stroll the streets and experience the charm of an old-fashioned night out with family and friends.
Old Town Fourth of July Celebration — Saturday, July 4
The patriotic weekend concludes with the City of Temecula’s Fourth of July Parade beginning at 10:00 am sharp at the intersection of Old Town Front & Second Street. Celebrate community, tradition, and hometown pride as festive entries make their way through town. The Old Town Temecula Association will join the celebration by passing out American flags along the route and participating as a community-oriented entry with classic red wagons. Pre-parade entertainment takes place from 9:15 am to 9:45 am by Miniature Therapy Horses of Temecula and Judy Taylor, Professional Western Entertainer.
The fun doesn’t end there! The City of Temecula will continue to celebrate the Fourth of July at Ronald Reagan Sports Park with a day full of entertainment, food, festive activities, and fireworks. For more details, visit TemeculaCA.gov/4thofJuly.

In celebration of America’s 250th anniversary and the spirit of Independence Day, the Old Town Temecula Association has purchased decorative patriotic stars that will adorn the arches throughout Old Town Temecula this summer. The display has been installed with the assistance of the City of Temecula Public Works team.
The City of Temecula extends its appreciation to the Old Town Temecula Association for its generous investment in enhancing the historic district and creating a festive atmosphere for residents and visitors alike. This collaborative effort reflects a shared commitment to community pride and commemorating our nation’s historic milestone.
The patriotic stars will welcome visitors as Old Town prepares for a weekend of Independence Day festivities, special promotions, community celebrations, and the beloved Fourth of July Parade. Together, the display and upcoming activities will showcase the patriotic spirit and hometown charm that make Old Town Temecula a favorite destination.
Residents and visitors are encouraged to stroll through Old Town, admire the star display, support local businesses, and enjoy all that the district has to offer. The stars will remain on display throughout the summer as a tribute to America’s 250th anniversary and the enduring spirit of community.
